Job Title: Accounting and Tax Manager
Location: Tustin, CA
A Day in the Life: As an Outsourced Accounting and Tax Manager, your typical day might include:
- Leading a team of outsourced accounting specialists, senior associates, and associates.
- Managing and nurturing client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering value.
- Overseeing daily accounting operations for a diverse client base.
- Providing business advisory services to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Reviewing bookkeeping, financial statements, tax projections, and other work prepared by the team.
- Preparing or reviewing business and individual tax returns based on your tax experience.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Offering feedback and guidance to enhance the outsourced accounting practice.
- Mentoring and providing technical training to staff members.
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional services.
- Handling client billing for accounting services.
- Participating in business development initiatives.
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
- Managing project budgets and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
Who You Are: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including previous experience managing staff.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license strongly preferred.
- Experience in a CPA firm, particularly in tax and/or audit, is preferred.
- Experience working in the healthcare/medical industry is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Compensation: $105,000-$140,000. We offer competitive and equitable compensation, compliant with local/state regulations. Final compensation decisions depend on factors such as location, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
