Haitian Bridge Alliance, Inc. (HBA) also known as “The BRIDGE” is a 501(c)(3) grassroots nonprofit community organization that advocates for fair and humane immigration policies and provides migrants and immigrants with humanitarian, legal, and social services, with a particular focus on Black migrants, the Haitian community, women and girls, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and survivors of torture and other human rights abuses. HBA works to elevate the issues unique to Black migrants and build solidarity and collective movement toward policy change.

About the Role

The Haitian Bridge Alliance is hiring a Case Management Director to lead and supervise the day to day activities and projects of the case management department. This is a hybrid role with three days at our community center in San Diego and two days remote. 

Responsibilities

• Manage supervision to a team of 4+ case managers
• Delegate responsibilities as appropriate
• Direct care coordination/case management and care transition processes across the department
• Assist with developing and implementing policies, procedures, and manuals for the department
• Ensure departments meets regulatory and confidentiality standards
• Develop departmental goals and objectives based on the organization’s strategic plan
• Prepare, monitor and evaluate the department’s budget, and in accordance with funding guidelines
• Evaluate, optimize participant care in alignment with HBA’s values and mission
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work,Human Services, Psychology, Sociology or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in social services, mental health or community resources; and at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Experience with file format, HIPAA, trauma-informed care required
• Proficient in Haitian Kreyol/French/Spanish preferred but not required
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment where emergencies often arise; ability to troubleshoot effectively, implement crisis management and tackle unexpected challenges 
• Experience working collaboratively with people of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic status, ages, and sexual orientations 
• A strong commitment to social, racial/economic justice, 

Annual Salary: $80,000
