Company Overview:

We are a well-established civil engineering firm specializing in Land Development projects, ranging from commercial and retail developments to senior living and multifamily residential communities. We are currently looking for a talented Civil Design Engineer or Civil CAD Designer with a passion for creating impactful projects that shape our community.

Position Overview:

As a Civil Design Engineer / Civil CAD Designer, you will work closely with our Project Managers and senior team members to support the design and drafting of Land Development projects. This role requires hands-on expertise in Civil 3D, as you will be responsible for creating detailed site designs, grading plans, utility layouts, and related documents. With a senior team member set to retire, this is a key role within our team, offering ample opportunity for professional growth and future leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design and drafting of Land Development projects including commercial, retail, industrial, senior living, and multifamily sites.
• Prepare and modify civil engineering plans, including grading, drainage, erosion control, utility, and roadway plans, using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other engineering staff to ensure design accuracy and project specifications are met.
• Assist with preliminary site assessments, feasibility studies, and other civil design needs.
• Work in an in-office setting to foster collaborative design development, with potential hybrid flexibility based on experience.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably focused on Land Development projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D is required.
• Experience with commercial, retail, industrial, senior living, or multifamily projects is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred, though not required.
• EIT or PE designation is a plus, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Work Environment:
