Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to join our team as the Executive Director of Solutions Architecture & Design. This role is pivotal in overseeing the design and planning how our service and solution design interacts with the network infrastructure, as well as the development of complex solutions, standards definition, and capacity and performance planning. You will interact with all areas of the business, including development, consulting services, IT, finance, HR, marketing, outside partners, and senior executives. Your strategic and operational leadership will be crucial in implementing support programs and processes, driving the strategic development of projects, and managing the department's budget and engineering operations. You will lead a team dedicated to improving the quality of support provided to internal customers and the quality of services delivered to our external customers. As we evolve, you will have direct influence in how we revolutionize our network and service delivery machinery of the future.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Direction: Improve operating processes, select new technology, and resolve technical problems.
  • Technology Leadership : Be on the leading edge of technology innovation, evaluation and implementation and provide direction to ensure optimum interaction between our product intent and our technology direction
  • Product Innovation : Predict and respond to changes in business drives and direction to both evolve technology implementations to adapt to changing climates, and create innovative deployment mechanisms for new services.
  • Adaptability: Respond to changing business needs by redirecting staff and projects accordingly. Develop business cases for new initiatives.
  • Project Management: Provide direction in setting objectives, establishing plans and milestones, monitoring progress, managing risks, and delivering desired results.
  • Alignment: Ensure corporate objectives align with those of the product support organization. Ensure all facets of solution delivery are aligned to product the optimum outcome for our customers.
  • Policy & Procedure: Establish internal policies, procedures, and systems in line with industry best practices to meet functional and technical support needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead integrated functional work teams. Effectively matrix manage across different teams to drive the best outcomes.
  • Budget Management: Manage capital and operating budgets.
  • Independent Judgment: Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  • Availability: Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Be available to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Optimization: Drive to improve and optimize existing services and solutions.


  • Significant experience in network architecture and solution delivery.
  • Knowledge of standardization mechanisms and groups.
  • Ability to create an industry framework around new concepts and ideas
