Blink is looking for Freelance Project Managersto join our growing team.If you love working with innovative and exciting clients alongside creative individuals who are highly collaborative, this is the role for you!

Our Freelance Project Managersarekey membersofour client delivery projectteams, working on UX research and user-centered design projects, alongside designers, researchers, directors, and account managers, to deliver excellence to our clients. This role will be responsible for keeping our team on the right track by monitoring the schedule, and budget, and helping to see and remove roadblocks that come up throughout the lifecycle of a project.

Ourideal candidate will havestrong interpersonal skills,a keen eye for detail,feel giddy around a beautifully organized Gantt chart,anda dedication to delivering extremely high-quality work.

Freelance varies in length projects at Blink usually range from 1-4 months in length. Most opportunities are between 20-30 hours a week, but sometimes full-time needs arise as well.

Freelance - $55-$75/hr (1099)

What you'll be doing:
  • Managing end-to-end projects through our project lifecycle (including strategy, research, design, and development.)
  • Planning and tracking project profitability.
  • Facilitating change management process – Announce, Quantify, Review, Inform, Pursue, Record.
  • Creating project plans and ensuring timely completion of assigned projects.
  • Building relationships with clients and internal employees; facilitating collaboration across teams.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and promote consistency within the team.
What we are looking for:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or a related field.
  • Highly motivated with a focus on the details.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills. Able to build rapport with our clients.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Passionate about process, learning, collaborating, and growth.
  • Ability to juggle multiple, varying projects in a fast-paced environment.
Additional things that are exciting to us, but not required:
  • Experience designing presentation decks in PowerPoint or Keynote.
  • Experience working withfinance; reportingon projectfinancial detailslike utilization, bill rate, cost rate, etc.
  • Experience working in a consulting firm.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design, UX research, or UX generally.

$55 - $75 an hour
