Nesco Resource is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our client in the New Haven, CT This in-person role is the perfect opportunity for individuals in the industry looking to develop their skill sets alongside an organization that has been around for over 60 years! Our client designs, develops, and manufactures high-reliability glass to metal hermetic seals.Position OverviewAs a Manufacturing Engineer you are a critical asset in making sure that the organization is meeting exact manufacturing requirements and can will overview designs. The responsibility of this role is to supervise the manufacturing of parts to be built on the manufacturing floor from beginning to the point of shipping which can include:Typical Day Designing and setting up work orders including Bill of Materials Designing component part drawings from a finished part drawing Designing fixturing for high temperature brazing & glass-to-metal sealing Building a manufacturing sequence Troubleshoot jobs to provide timely accurate solutions and inline correctionsTo be successful 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing organization. Candidates should have knowledge of and experience working around inspection techniques, plating & finishing. Machine shop and secondary equipment including bench press tool & die setup & design. Resistance welding and pin forming. Laser marking & laser welding are a plus. AutoCAD experience is a plus.
