**JOB DETAILS**
The Marketing Specialist will play an integral part in ensuring our retail partners and their employees are educated on The Honest Kitchen brand and products, and that they are armed with communications materials that resonate with customers that come through their doors. They will be responsible for overseeing corporate email communications and messaging, as well as the execution of retailer programsincluding training, employee feed and loyalty programs. This role will also help support Petco and other key account marketing and business initiatives.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
Retailer Program Management
* Training programsmaintains internal training platforms and account-specific platforms. Coordinates new training video needs, including writing the scripts, coordinating the shoot, working with a video editor & distributing training content. Maintains training PowerPoint presentations.
* Employee Feed program handles day-to-day maintenance of this program, tracks performance against goals with sales team, troubleshoots inquiries and works with designer to update program marketing materials as needed.
* Loyalty program ensures program details are accurate across external platforms and in-market assets are up to date.
Retail Marketing & Communication Support
* Works with Retail Marketing Director & Sales Leadership to manage promotional setup with external vendor partners, including submitting offers, and developing/distributing promotional support assets (managing the process from briefing to creative development with a graphic designer, proofer, etc).
* Supports Retail Marketing Director with managing Petco business including running reports, managing special projects, and other day-to-day needs.
* Retailer Email program drafts calendar, develops key talking points, writes content, briefs designer, proofs, gets approvals, schedules sends, maintains contact lists and conducts reporting.
* Coordinates sales team requests for marketing assets.
Asset and Marketing Data Management
* Works with Retail Marketing Director and internal CRM partners to ensure sales team has access to relevant and current data and marketing assets on CRM dashboard.
* Manages marketing assets on the Reseller Hub, SharePoint & FedEx Print portal and training platforms.
* Audits and updates store locator at least quarterly, and more often during special initiatives. Ensures processes are in place to have up-to-date store locations.
Sales Support
* Works with sales team on communication in low sales volume doors in the US and Canada using efficient, scalable tactics such as newsletters, emails, webinars, etc. Develop email communication strategy to keep retailers educated and informed on Honest Kitchens retailer support initiatives.
* Oversees coupon redemption platform reporting. Provides monthly reports to Sales Leadership on redemptions and highlights any areas of concern.
* Responds to reseller inquiry emails or redirects to sales team when needed.
Requirements
* Strong PowerPoint & Excel skills.
* Must be extremely organized. Able to track multiple projects; juggle timelines and shift priorities if needed.
* Must work with a sense of urgency for short-timeline projects while also maintaining progress on long-term projects with no deadline.
* Experience with CRM and using metrics to assess retail program progress and success.
* Requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable leading trainings in person and via Zoom.
* BA in Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
**PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED**
* Interest in pet health.
