Medical Coder III (inpatient) - Remote job in Montgomery, Alabama!

Job Summary: Join a mission-driven team providing inpatient medical coding for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) . This fully remote position ensures compliance with DHA coding standards and accuracy requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT codes for inpatient services.
• Ensure DRG assignment, compliance, and accuracy .
• Utilize MHS GENESIS, 3M Encompass 360, JLV systems.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years inpatient coding experience (or 3 years MTF experience).
• Certified Coder (CPC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT) .
• Security clearance eligibility (Tier 1 Investigation) .

Position contingent on contract award. With an early summer start date
