Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking the best  California Physician Assistants (PAs) available to join our expanding Outpatient Practice in Fortuna, CA beginning in July. This is a long-term full-time scheduling opportunity to join an exceptionally supported practice with all of the amenities afforded as a locum tenens provider.

• Contract Type: Locum Tenens 
• Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
• Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday (8:00a - 5:00p)
• Duration: Long-Term Locums
• Population: Treating Patients of All Ages
• Census: Avg. 18 Patients/Shift
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and interpret medical histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and blood work
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, infections, and injuries
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments for various medical conditions
• Provide patient education and counsel on preventive health measures and treatment options
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all patient encounters

Provider Requirements:

• Current California State License & DEA
• Active Certification
• Ability to Treat Patients of All Ages
• Certifications: BLS
