The investigations often involve personal and intimate details of an individual's life and must be processed and conducted with tact and discretion. Information collected by the investigator as part of the BI is protected under the Privacy Act of 1974. In this role, a typical day will include:
  • Provide Employee Investigators (EI) and 1099 Investigators with assigned fieldwork.
  • Assign or perform work on deadline, accurately, professional, and completely.
  • Assignments/BISA knowledge. The ability to understand all phases of assignment aspects and related matters, not limited, but to include:

  • Assignments prioritization. The process of ranking the importance of our fieldwork. Focus on targeting add-on leads.
  • Establish EI workload levels and expectations
  • Create TDY/Drive Time spreadsheets for 1099s who have to travel outside their vicinity.
  • Communicate with supervisor, team members and investigators.
  • Conduct Quality Control on case scoped.
  • Provide Case Analysis for cases scoped.
  • Meet daily assignment goals provided by supervisor.
  • Problem Solving. The ability to analyze a given situation or problem and make appropriate business decisions based upon prudent judgement that represents the best interests of GDIT and its customers. Problem solving requires both analytical ability and judgement.
  • Customer Service. The ability to meet or exceed customer needs. Ensure ongoing relationships with Investigators.
