We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate Post Closer / Funder to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of post-closing tasks, coordinating funding activities, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of real estate transactions, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

  • Review completed real estate transaction files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established guidelines and regulations.
  • Verify all necessary documents, signatures, and forms are properly executed and filed in compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Coordinate with various parties, including title companies, lenders, attorneys, and escrow officers, to ensure a smooth and efficient post-closing process.
  • Prepare and process funding packages, including disbursing funds to appropriate parties and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the post-closing process.
  • Communicate with borrowers, sellers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any inquiries related to post-closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of post-closing transactions, ensuring documentation is readily accessible for audits and reference.
  • Monitor and stay current with changes in real estate regulations, industry practices, and loan programs to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for management, providing insights into post-closing performance and trends.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate post-closing or funding roles.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transaction processes, regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency in using software and tools related to post-closing and funding activities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle complex situations with professionalism and tact.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with various parties involved in the post-closing process.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of post-closing responsibilities.
