We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and experienced Consulting RF Test Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about space hardware, satellites, and radio frequency (RF) engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing RF testing procedures for our cutting-edge technology. This role requires a deep understanding of Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and satellite communication systems. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement RF testing procedures for various systems and components, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Utilize Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and other RF testing tools to evaluate and troubleshoot system performance, identifying and resolving any issues or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful integration of RF systems.
  • Provide expert technical guidance on RF testing and analysis, serving as a key resource for the team and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing procedures and protocols.
  • Prepare and present detailed test reports, including data analysis and recommendations, to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in RF testing and satellite communication technologies, applying this knowledge to your work and sharing insights with the team.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in RF testing, with a focus on Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and satellite communication systems.
  • Proven experience with space hardware and satellite systems.
  • Strong understanding of RF principles and technologies, including signal processing, modulation, and encoding.
  • Proficiency in using RF testing and analysis tools, including Spectrum Analyzers and Oscilloscopes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, innovative, and driven to achieve excellence in all tasks and projects.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required.
