Augmentjobs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial analysis and insights to support the company's financial objectives. You will work closely with senior management and other departments to ensure the effective management of financial resources, optimize profitability, and contribute to the company's long-term financial success.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the development and execution of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and improve complex financial models to evaluate business performance, forecast financial outcomes, and support strategic initiatives.
Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and clarity in financial communication.
Market & Industry Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market and industry analysis to assess trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact financial performance.
Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital projects, by conducting financial due diligence and ROI analysis.
Risk Management: Identify and analyze financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance financial performance.
Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and business development, to align financial goals and strategies. Mentor and guide junior analysts.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and best practices in financial reporting and analysis.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is highly preferred.
Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the financial services industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial analysis tools. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting software is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
