Work Location: Malvern, PA - Hybrid, coming into the office at least 3 days per week with Monday, Tuesday and Thursday being set office days.

What you'll do:

Join our team as a Physical Security Specialist where you will play a pivotal role in shaping a safe and secure future for our customers and Customers Bank. In this vital position, you will safeguard our most valuable assets-our customers, our team members, our property, and our principles-by fostering a secure environment where innovation and collaboration thrive. This role demands not only vigilance and precision but also the courage to face and navigate complex challenges effectively. Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, to identify and resolve any security breaches or irregularities.
  • Conduct regular physical inspections and security audits of the premises to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Develop and implement physical security measures and protocols to enhance safety and security on the premises.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and other emergency responders during security incidents and emergencies.
  • Manage the issuance of employee ID badges, ensuring all personnel have proper credentials and access rights.
  • Train staff on security procedures and crisis response protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs of security incidents and provide regular reports to the Security Manager.
  • Manage security company vendor relationships and aiding with special projects as necessary.
  • Assist in bank investigations as needed
  • Participate in the evaluation and testing of new security technologies to enhance physical security measures.

What do you need?
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a physical security role, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of security operations and surveillance systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to be available off hours, when needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player
  • Certification in Physical Security Professional (PSP) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is highly advantageous.

Technology Skills:
  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Power Point and Word)
  • Sharepoint management
  • Adobe/PDF skills
