Overview

As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will be a crucial member of our global Gallagher Bassett Salesforce team. We are looking for a proactive individual who can continuously enhance and advance our Salesforce platform by understanding our business needs and consulting with our business users to design scalable, best practice solutions.

 

The user experience on our Salesforce platform is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, the Senior Salesforce Administrator should be passionate about all aspects of user management, including handling support tickets, providing training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction as a priority.

 

We seek someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can quickly grasp our business goals and identify areas for improvement. The Senior Salesforce Administrator should excel in change management and governance, as well as in communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will enjoy collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman's terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact.


How you'll make an impact

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 700+ users, acting as the liaison between users and development teams.
  • Oversee all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules.
  • Implement Salesforce configuration changes, such as Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
  • Manage sandbox environments and have a basic understanding of triggers and Apex code.
  • Identify and gather requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
  • Effectively manage user support cases and provide ongoing user training.
  • Have working knowledge of Salesforce integration types, especially APIs and Connected Apps.
  • Build reports and dashboards with a focus on data quality.
  • Write technical documentation and guide other Salesforce administrators.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to analyze business requirements and translate them into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
  • Lead training initiatives for new users and enhance the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
  • Work independently with business owners to define and document development requirements.

About You

Required:

  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 4+ years of Salesforce admin experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud administration.
  • Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification
  • Strong data management abilities.
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present data and communicate with leadership and technical teams.
  • Proven experience in designing scalable, best practice solutions in Sales cloud.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in translating requirements into technical solutions. Experience with Oracle CPQ or Salesforce CPQ is a plus.
  • Proficient in change management and governance.
  • Experience in training end users and key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain high productivity in a fast-paced, team environment while managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration changes.
  • Understanding of basic Apex, batch Apex, and triggers.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all related applications, systems, and processes.
