Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Design Strategy or Service Design experience
• Experience with strategy sessions and working with stakeholders, building stakeholder relationships to align on design initiatives and decisions
• Strong understanding of Service design and UX processes - customer journey's when it comes to UX designing
• Ability to visualize and systematize concepts and processes
• Strong stakeholder engagement - understanding of getting others to adopt processes
• Hands on with system based blueprints, journey mapping and flows, information architecture, quick prototyping, taxonomy
• Hands on building Google Slide decks to present design findings and processes,, and story tell to other stakeholders so they understand the approach Knowledge of customer centricity
• Portfolio with up to date work that shows process oriented work, service blueprints or systematized design thoughts

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Understanding of customer facing products and product taxonomy

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking two Service Design/Experience Design Strategists to join a consumer facing design team. This team will be supporting a great Consumer facing Design Organization and align to a customer centric portfolio, so candidates must have a strong understanding delivering service design and strategy work focused on B2C web and mobiles services, platforms and products. We are seeking candidates with a background in service design to be able to work heavily within the taxonomy and information architecture space. This team helps shape the systematized approach to design for all products and journey's within the adjacent design teams web and mobile application portfolios. This work is not design for development, but rather designing blueprints for navigation, build and design internal tools for other designers to be more successful, and visualize concepts with boxes/arrows/spreadsheets to create meaningful tool libraries for designers across the organization to access. Understanding customer insights when it comes to experience design or service design would be helpful for the role. This candidate will be supporting stakeholder relationships across multiple teams and business units to connect insights and use them to implement service design strategy. There will be some hands on designing when it comes to quick prototypes, journey maps based on their discovery with stakeholder interactions about product and customer journey's, as well as system based blueprints and artifacts for presentation to product partners/leadership. Candidates should have a strong background understanding large ecosystems of customer facing products with multi step journey's, as well as established relationships cross functionally to help others understand design in the experience design lifecycle. This candidate should be curious, ask great questions, function both collaboratively and independently, as well as be comfortable with outreach and organization of multiple groups.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Compensation: $51hr to $66hr
