Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our dynamic well-established and growing team. This is a position that offers an excellent opportunity to lead multiple engagements of the tax practice and deliver high-quality tax services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, tax planning, or real estate tax. The role requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a CPA firm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns (individual, corporate, and partnership) in compliance with federal and state tax laws.
- Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
- Conduct tax research to develop solutions for our clients' complex tax issues.
- Manage and maintain relationships with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, procedures, and workflows within the tax department.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in tax legislation to ensure client needs are met and risks are minimized.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree in Taxation or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in tax.
- Proven experience with tax advice, tax preparation, tax planning, real estate tax, tax accounting, income tax, tax advisory, and tax research.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
